Europa Clipper engineers use mixed reality (also known as augmented reality, or AR) headsets to examine Europa Clipper’s avionics module assembly in a clean room at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The mixed reality headsets look like wraparound sunglasses; unlike virtual reality headsets (which produce an entirely virtual setting), they have transparent lenses that blend the virtual and real worlds together.
